The Airobot Z-Mapper is based on the Acecore ZOE, a professional all-weather-drone with an autonomy of more than 30 minutes. It has an IP rating of IP43 (rainwater proof) and can operate in winds up to 18 m/sec (35 knots, 8 beaufort).
The Airobot Mapper provides accurate coordinates for every picture, using RTK or PPK technology. This results in land survey accurate data without needing ground control points.
The integrated PPK/RTK GNSS receiver allows to collect accurately georeferenced mapping data. It is capable to track all satellites in view from GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and BEIDOU. It offers also advanced interference and jammer mitigation technology as well as state-of-the-art ionosphere estimation algorithms.
The Z-Mapper integrates the industry wide used Sony UMC-R10C camera. This camera is ideal to collect high quality images to create maps or 3D models, also in low-light conditions thanks to the large APS-C image sensor.
An easy-to-use interface is available on any mobile device, without having to install special application firmware. This eliminates the risk of human error and allow for more consistent flight executions
The encrypted 2.4GHz digital data link offers a robust and reliable connection to the drone, even at larger distances.
Together with the Airobot Collect software the Z-Mapper offers an easy-to-use solution to geoference images and organize the results in the cloud.
